The Homes

Flamboyant is the original house and the largest of the five, with ten rooms and two more in the annex. Every room is ensuite and air conditioned, the rooms look out over either the sea or the gardens, and the pool and The Patio are both here. The suite has a double shower and a king bed; the upstairs double has a balcony.

Cape Blush is a self-catering villa with five rooms, four bathrooms and a full kitchen, and it comes with its own chef and pool attendant. Four of the five rooms face the ocean, and there is a private pool and verandah as well as access to the Flamboyant pool and restaurants next door. Rooms can be booked individually when available, or the whole house on a five-night minimum.

Baobab is our double-storey house, with four bedrooms and views from upstairs that carry over the garden and down onto the beach. The rooms have solid wood beds, mosquito nets and distressed dressing tables, and there is a small seating area under the ground floor window fringed with royal palms. Two of the rooms use a bathroom across the hallway rather than an ensuite.
